Digitising Manufacturing Workflows and Access Control
Process software, role-based access, laboratory workflows, and legacy application work inside a manufacturing organisation.
Dual Business Information Systems student and software developer — Luis Martin Schick
Situation / problem
Kleiberit needed operational workflows and internal software to support resource ordering, access control, laboratory records, and manufacturing-related processes.
Previous system or workflow
Resource ordering and laboratory records required redesign and workflow support. The existing BBJ application also needed maintenance, enhancement, and requirements work with stakeholders.
Solution
- Redesigned the resource-ordering workflow end to end.
- Built role-based permissions covering 500+ employees.
- Digitised laboratory records and workflows in an IATF-16949 context.
- Built a chemical-recipe closeness system and maintained the legacy BBJ application.
Concrete result
- Resource ordering had a redesigned process and supporting software.
- Role-based access covered more than 500 employees across departments.
- I digitised laboratory records and developed a tool for comparing chemical recipes.
Delivery scope and role
- Dual student and software-developer role inside Kleiberit
- Requirements work and solution delivery with stakeholders
- Process redesign, application development, and maintenance
