Laboratory information management
LIMS by VXW
Lab inventory, experiments and machines in one record the whole team works from. Every page works on a phone, and scanning a QR label opens the lot, shelf or machine in front of you.
Experiments
- Recipes with numbered versions and a release step
- An optional second approver for four-eyes release
- Runs follow a released version at the bench and record what was actually used
- Measurements are kept beside each step
Inventory
- A stock ledger for every lot with receipts, uses, splits and counts, each with who, when and why
- Quantities convert between units exactly
- Expiring lots and items due for reorder show up without anyone checking
Labels and stocktakes
- QR labels for lots, storage locations and machines
- A stocktake means walking the shelves and scanning as you go
Machines
- Service, calibration and faults go into a log that cannot be rewritten
- Due dates are derived from that log
- Machines can be booked by the week
Hazards
- Items carry their SDS reference, GHS pictograms, signal word and CLP hazard statements
- Lot labels show the pictograms. They are auxiliary labels, not CLP labels
Audit trail and access
- Every change is kept with the person, the time and the reason
- Access follows roles and permissions
Accounts are by invitation. Your lab's admin creates them.
