Technology

For SIB-BW2 I built about 30 reports with Jasper Reports and SQL, from overviews of every structure and its characteristics to a detailed report on a single structure. Report generation there is roughly 60% faster across the board. I work with Oracle, PostgreSQL, MySQL, and Microsoft SQL Server, and build statistical models in Python with plain statistics rather than a language model, so results are repeatable and each step can be checked. For dashboards and ad-hoc analysis, a BI tool such as Power BI or Metabase is usually the better choice, and I will tell you if that is what you need.
